How to get a Six Pack in 3 Minutes

Most of us it seems today are in a big hurry or have little time to spare. This situation means that people are looking for quick fix solutions in all areas of their lives including their fitness.

So first of all let me be clear if you are looking to get a six pack in 3 minutes then you need to be a little more realistic. I know how to get a great set of abs but lets be honest if you are only working out for 3 minutes a week you are going to struggle.

For the best chance of getting a six pack you need to be training between 3-6 times a week and following a calorie controlled healthy eating plan. However if your time for exercise is very limited and you can spare only a few minutes every day here is some good advice and a great 3 minute fat burning, six pack workout you can try at your next training session:

1. Focus on intensity

One of the most important factors when looking to lose body fat and show off your six pack is applying high intensity to your workouts. So if you can only find a short period of time to exercise every day you must try and work at the highest level of intensity possible.

2. Proper Technique

When you are doing your workout you must use proper technique and peform every rep with as much control as possible..This ensures that the muscles are being worked at the optimal level which is important when only training for short periods of time. If you are feeling that your technique or form are not quite correct then either reduce the weight or slow down the rep tempo.

3. Total Body Workouts

Just performing ab exercises when you only have a short period of time to train is not the best course to take. Your goal is to really burn as many calories in the time you have available and one of best options to do this is do workouts that target the whole body. Resistance training performed at high intensity is a fantastic way of burning fat and giving your whole body including abs a hard workout. If your not sure about this try this workout and see how you feel after only 3 minutes:

1 Kettlebell/Dumbbell 2 handed Swings - 1 minute

2. Press up with mountain Climber – 1 minute

3. Dumbbell Squat to overhead press  – 1 minute

Perform as a continuous circuit with no rest between each exercise.

I guarantee this workout will get your heart racing and leave you gasping for breath plus it is working your abs and every other muscle for the whole 3 minutes.

So by just applying these few tips, time limited workouts can still be very effective when trying to get a six pack.  Once you have reached the point when you can do this workout or a different one at maximum intensity then either start increasing the weights or change the exercises.

So as you can it is not impossible to get a six pack in three minutes but if you want quicker results then you really need to increase your workout time to 15-30 minutes. Finally always keep in mind that without the correct diet all you hard work in getting a six pack will be in vain.
